Fantastic Photos I am kind of jealous :) It looks like you had a great time there.
Good morning Switzerland ^_^ These pics are from the beginning of March, before the big snow. Now we’re already in April [which means I’m waaaaaayyyyyyy behind…..] and after the snow came the wind?! But just every now’n then, when the weather quickly perks up, you just can’t beat a day out in the van ^_^
Thanks for commenting!
Wow guys – these are brilliant… looks like you got the weather now. Isn’t it great to have some warmer temperatures… Still looking for those postings about somebody running… :-) I am off for a run in a little while – have a great evening…
Am currently aiming to be able to do a 13 mile (half marathon?) run. On the treadmill. Not much to show/see haha. Long way to go though: now running 2.5 miles (4 km) in 23:50 mins – how slow can you go……when I’m good I might start showing running pics ^_^
Hi Babs… I know it is difficult to get the pace up… you see when I started back the end of last year (once my knee was up to it) I ran 3 k in 30 min and I had to walk part of it as well…
so 4 k in 23 something brings you up to 5 k around 30 which is good. like your goad of a half marathon… myself I am trying (this year again) to run the reschenseelauf… google it and you see it is beautiful scenery and all… happy running :-)
I did Google it….snow-capped mountains, gorgeous lake, fit people showing off sustaining injuries and no doubt enjoying a drink in the glorious sun afterwards, what’s not to like????!!! ^_^
Some tasty pics here: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Reschenseelauf&aq=f&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=LE9xUZvrMYG1POy5gegN&biw=1454&bih=704&sei=OU9xUamIIOSW0AWhz4DACA
Looking forward to reading about your experience soon then?
All is to like… I hope I will find the time – just about to take on a new position… well time will tell I guess…
I hope you are making progress with your running.
Anyhow – happy injury free running.. :-)
Damn brilliant photos. I love em.
My son has a photo of him with his class up Snowdonia :-)
Can’t beat a bit of Welsh in your life ^_^
That’s true :-)
Nice photos. Love your dogs (I have a border collie too!) thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog!
You’re welcome Linda. Love your blog ^_^
Great shots! Just one question: that brown animal: horse and dog?
Hog? Dorse? ^_^
Yes, was an extremely shaggy looking teeny weeny tiny thing that. Didn’t like us *circumferencing* it either…..AND it confused the dogs! Strange to see that there wasn’t any other wild horses around but I’m sure it managed to get reunited with similarly shabby chic looking Hogs/Dorses soon after ^_^
If only we could have kept that weather. We’re back to normal down here in the south.
Yes, that was the strangest thing, looking at super sunny almost summer’ish pics in the middle of snow coming down thick’n fast? Sun shining today – fingers crossed, this could be the beginning of high summer?! (Ha!)
Beautiful pics, as always. Imagine them posting a sign that says “No Dogs”. The nerve of some people! Don’t they know your dogs are famous world travelers? Anyway, good to see your adventures back on my WordPress readied again. I was missing you guys.
aaaaawwwww, it feels nice to be missed ^_^ The weather’s been pump (translate: bad….), one of the dogs (the fluffy one) has suffered another leg injury (translate: rest for 4 weeks) and fitting new (SAAB) swivel chairs (well, one swivels, the other doesn’t) has meant slow go on the camper front. As the weather is set to improve, the dog’s had enough of his traction socks (yes, traction dog sock. you read that right) and the seats are about to be finished off tonight expect more showing off of nature pics on this very blog very soon ^_^
I can see why – it’s beautiful! Great pictures :)
Thanks Meg! ^_^
Stunning mountain photos there. Just been telling my son about Tryfan and what fine mountain it is and then I read you post. Spooky! However the star of the show is your dog, those photos are just marvelous. I had a dog who use to accompany me on all my mountain walks and I recognise that “paws out front, waiting for stick to be thrown” pose. Great stuff :)
Wow yeah I can see why you like it so much.
Next time you see pictures of Snowdonia featured on this very blog they’ll be snow covered. Haven’t we just had the weirdest weather EVER?
Just got to say “cool, living the dream”!
Thanks Danny [still gotta do the work thing inbetween though. So perhaps just living the 70/30 dream ^_^]
